Ayurveda is the art of “you”, the owner’s manual of your own self-healing. Over time it becomes something that you remember and know to be true at a deep level. At its essence, Ayurveda is an ancient healing medicine of feeling that teaches you about who you are, encompassing much more than a symptomatic approach to health.
Ayurveda teaches you the way your unique mind and body communicate so that real change can begin to happen.
What does it take to make a real shift?
In order to make a real shift, the proper foods, herbs and lifestyle for your unique mind/body type have to be understood and applied consistently and effectively over time. There must be an understanding that the body and mind are interconnected and the body is simply a reflection of the mind, beliefs or thought forms in the unconscious mind. Soul Arts Wellness Studio uses many different methods to clear and digest these patterns. Lastly, there must be a deep motivation for change.
Ayurveda: The Science of Life
Ayurveda is an energy medicine working with nature’s five elements: space/ether, air, fire, water and earth. Each has its own specific energetic properties. As humans, we are made up of a unique combination of these elements, which characterize our own individual unique blueprint. In Ayurveda, self-healing begins when we are able to recognize that the elements around us in nature are also inside of us.
“Foolish is the doctor who despises the knowledge acquired by the ancients.” ~Hippocrates, father of Western medicine
Ancient Living System of Medicine
Ayurveda has existed for thousands of years, yet each new generation continually refines its ancient wisdom, allowing it to be a “living” science.
Einstein’s theory of relativity emerged long after Ayurveda stating that energy and matter are expressions of the same universal energy or substance. Ayurveda recognizes a similar field of intelligence, named “Pure Consciousness.” Ayurveda’s belief in the connection between mind, body and spirit recognizes that restoring balance is about looking at all levels of the human experience.
